DR. REZKI PERDANI SAWAI
About the Speaker
DR. REZKI PERDANI SAWAI is currently a senior lecturer in the Counseling Program at the Faculty of Leadership and Management, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). She started working at USIM in April 2008. Prior to that, she served the Board of Counselors, Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM) for 3 years from 2005 to 2008. She obtained her first degree in Bachelor of Human Sciences (Psychology) from International Islamic University Malaysia (2003), Certificate in Law (2004) and Master of Education (Educational Psychology) (2005) from the same university and a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Sciences specializing in Youth Studies, from Universiti Putra Malaysia (2019). She received several awards including Research Excellent Award for 2 consecutive years (2012 and 2013) at University level, several Innovation Awards from the 23th International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition 2012 (ITEX 2012 MALAYSIA), silver medal in International Conference and Exposition on Inventions by Institutions of Higher Learning (PECIPTA 2011), bronze medal at International Counselling Innovation Showcase & Competition (i-COUNNOVAS 2021), Finalist of the Special Award of the Minister of Education Malaysia: Curriculum Design and Innovative Delivery (AKRI), Gold medal in k-Teaching and Learning Innovation, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Faculty level Innovation Award and several others. She has also been appointed as a judge for the International Malaysian-Indonesia-Thailand Symposium on Innovation and Creativity (IMIT SIC 2021), International Science and Social Science Innovation Competition (ISIC 2020). and speaker for the Innovation Workshop organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences, Kolej Universiti Islam Melaka (KUIM).

MOHD HELMY ABD WAHAB
About the Speaker
Mohd Helmy Abd Wahab is a Senior lecturer and a former Head of Multimedia Engineering Lab and Intelligent System Lab at the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in 2014 and 2009. He is currently a Principal Research Fellow at Advanced Telecommunication Research Center, Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, UTHM (2021 – 2025) and Visiting Research Fellow for Center of Excellence on Advanced in Computing, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UNIMaP) (2021 – 2023). In addition, he was a visiting research fellow at Center of Excellence on Geopolymer and Green Technology under cluster Green ICT, Unimap from 2018 – 2020. He received a Bachelor of Information Technology with Honours from Universiti Utara Malaysia and Master of Science (Intelligent System) from the same university in 2002 and 2004 respectively. He has completed several research grants; won several medals in research and innovation showcases and awarded several publication and teaching awards.
By latest he received 2 GOLD Medals and 6 Special Award from Vietnam, UK, Philipines, Egypt and Hong Kong at the IPITEX 2023, Bangkok, Thailand. 2nd runner up for Grand Prize Award category Innovation Video Challenge for project "Online Learning System with authentication and identification mechanism using neuro-fuzzy algorithm" and the same project also received 1st Grand Prize Award for FB Post and contest as well as GOLD medals respectively at Asia International Innovation Exhibition 2020 (AIINEX2020) organized by ConnectionAsia and UNIKL. He also received a international award GOLD medal for project "Portable Dwi-Switch Home Control Appliance for Elderly and Disabled People" at 2020 Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition (IPITEx 2020) in conjuction with Thailand Inventors’ Day 2020 on 2 - 6 February 2020. He also be an international and local judges for for more than 100 innovation events including USA, Poland, Morocco, Indonesia and Thailand.
He has authored and co-authored 2 academic books in database and WAP application, published several both local and international book chapters as well as published more than 200 technical papers in conferences and peer-reviewed journals. He also served as Editor-in-chief in Advances in Computing and Intelligent System Journal and guest editor for Special Issue in Wireless and Mobile Networks in International Journal of Advanced Computer Science and Applications and as Deputy Editor in Chief for Int. Journal of Software Engineering and Computing and scholarly contributed as committee for conferences, editorial team and manuscript reviewers. His research interests are in data mining, artificial intelligence and computer vision, mobile and wireless computing, web-based applications.
