INNOCOM is an innovation competition organised by the Academic International Dialogue (AID Conference), which has been hosting various national and international conferences in Malaysia since 2016. This programme aims to bring together professionals, academics, researchers, and students (including school students) to showcase their innovations and research through poster presentations and product demonstration. Additionally, INNOCOM encourages innovations related to teaching and learning practices in universities and schools. |
The main aim of INNOCOM is to provide a platform for innovators at various levels (professionals, academics, researchers, and students) to share their findings and be evaluated at a higher level. INNOCOM also aims to be a platform for educators at universities and schools to share their innovative teaching and learning ideas and practices, helping to improve teaching styles and enhance productivity and efficiency in teaching. |

For innovators who already have an innovation product to compete. 2. INNOVATION IDEA (POSTER PRESENTATION)
For innovators who have ideas but do not yet have a product. They may present their idea through an online poster presentation. |
INNOCOM SUB-CATEGORIES1) Social Sciences
All innovations related to social sciences and humanities.
2) Science & Technology
Innovations in Life Sciences, such as Biology and its various disciplines, to create or improve methods and techniques that incorporate sustainability from a social, economic and environmental aspects by presenting the idea of invention – Product, Prototype and/or Innovation- Idea, Concept, System, Process, Technique.
3) Innovation in Education and Teaching
This category includes innovations in teaching and learning, alternative assessment methods, the use of technology in teaching learning, and methods for teaching and/or student supervision.
