With its many features, artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as one of the most significant topics in the world, allowing people to discover and learn about new things that are happening all around them. Additionally, this is crucial for the process of academic writing. AI's impact on the academic writing process has resulted in significant modifications to academic writing abilities, since it is now not only a writing tool but also a tool for integration into other processes. Particularly in the writing process, AI tools facilitate the quick generation of drafts and an outline. They also aid in the context of grammatical correction and refinement, as well as research enhancement with the flow of research concerns that must be taken into consideration, such as literature reviews. Ai’s rapid adoption of assessment techniques and emphasis on critical teaching evaluation abilities have raised concerns among educators. AI has a substantial and continuous influence on academic writing. It provides effective tools for raising productivity and quality, but it also poses problems that the academic community needs to solve. Finding the ideal balance between utilizing AI's potential and preserving the caliber and integrity of academic work is crucial. ABSTRACT
Title : Innovation in Education: Transitioning from Didactic to Interactive Learning in Higher Education
Most students in higher education encounter education through traditional didactic methods. This instructional approach operates primarily in one direction and is ineffective at both exciting students and promoting their engagement or cooperative learning. The educational objectives for the twenty-first century require that students learn independence, communication, and collaboration while developing critical thinking skills. However, the way didactic teaching delivers information does not sufficiently establish and cultivate these necessary skills. Consequently, there is a growing necessity for innovation in pedagogical methods, shifting from didactic to interactive learning environments. Two interactive teaching strategies, flipped classrooms and active learning, have proven highly effective in advancing students' abilities to engage passionately while improving their interaction and critical thinking skills. The implementation of these methods increases the educational workload through detailed planning, preparation of advanced materials, and integration of engaging elements. Nevertheless, the dedicated work invested in these strategies is beneficial as it leads to significant improvements in learning outcomes. The presentation will also explore several digital tools that effectively facilitate these engaging teaching strategies.
